Edward Roney Furniture Ltd.

Edward trained as a furniture designer maker at Rycotewood College in Thame. He left in 1993 and has been designing and making furniture for a broad range of clients both private and commercial ever since.

Some larger commissions in the mid to late 2000's paved the way to recruit more makers and move to bigger premises. We also increased the quantity of our fixed bench machinery including an edgebander which allows us to manufacture standard carcassing in-house.

We pride ourselves on meticulous attention to detail throughout the design, making and installation process. Site surveys are undertaken using modern laser equipment. Everything is 3D modelled on computer before construction which highlights any problem areas far more effectively than 2d drawings. Following the pre-production meeting we can therefore give the architect, contractor or private client complete confidence that their requirements will be exactly met.

All wood and panel based work is made in-house while we use an extensive team of carefully chosen sub-contractors to supply our glass, stone/marble, engineering, sheet metalwork, upholstery and leather, to name a few. For the private client we can also offer certified electrical work, plumbing and general building work to an equally high standard.
